In March of 1971 George Bales, at the young age of 23, decided to become self-employed by purchasing his first rollback wrecker. Always trying to provide the best service possible, George soon realized he was developing a loyal customer base and the demand for towing services were continuing to grow he then purchased another wrecker. Always striving to be better George worked day and night to have the established business we are today. He continued to grow the buisness by also purchasing two heavy duty wreckers and expanding our clientele. George's Wrecker Service has always been family owned and operated for the past 45 years. In December of 2012 George made the decision to have his oldest grandson Zachary Allen (who has always enjoyed being by his grandfathers side while working) begin training under him so he could eventually retire. Zachary began the all day and night training, under his grandfather's watchful eye, to learn what will be his lifetime career. Two and a half years later Zachary purchased George's Wrecker Service from his grandfather on August, 7th 2015. Since the purchase Zachary has continued to help all of our loyal customers and also expand our services to many more companies. He has big plans to grow but always remember who's support got us to where we are today. Our goal is to become one of Louisiana's largest towing facilities and we will always strive to serve others before ourselves.
